I’m so glad you’re here! For me, good hair is essential. I feel my most confident when I love my hair and I want you to experience the same.

I've been a hair stylist for over a decade now, and nothing makes me happier than providing luxurious hair services right here in Pittsburgh. I specialize in hand-tied NBR & IBE extensions, both being revolutionary techniques that gives your hair natural length and volume with minimal to no damage. The main difference is the beads are hidden in the IBE method. I received my NBR training in Laguna Beach, CA and have since honed my craft to become an industry expert. If you’re unsure which method is best for you, no worries, most clients leave that up to my professional advice.

I am committed to ongoing education and professional development to ensure that you receive the best possible hair services, because ultimately I believe that with great hair, anything is possible!

meet the team

I have been doing hair for close to seven years but have been in the beauty industry since I was 14. My first job in high school was as a shampoo assistant, later becoming a salon receptionist while in college. After finishing cosmetology school in 2017, I assisted Sarah for two years and started taking clients in 2018. I have been certified in NBR extensions since 2017 and specialize in sun kissed color and natural, seamless extensions.

Some trainings I have completed are Natural Beaded Rows extensions and business training, Nine Zero One Academy, Glow Education by Marissa Sue, Kaitlyn Brown education, Adrienne Dara education, and Invisible Bead Extensions.

When I’m not working - I love grabbing a specialty coffee or cocktail, enjoying a good meal at new restaurant, traveling with the salon girls for education and spending time with my husband and kids, Giada and Cruz.

Cella Miller

So nice to virtually meet you - Hi, im Emily! Born and raised in Pittsburgh but I moved around after I turned 18 (People joke I've lived everywhere) so chances are we may have a mutual city in common. I moved back home and now live in the North Hills! I am your go to girl for all things regarding Sarah Pelco Salon. I am thrilled to be the salon director for Sarah and the team! I have so much pride in getting to come into our beautiful space(s) each day to see and get to know you! I bring 5+ years of stylist experience that turned into a passion for all things communication, innovation and guest satisfaction along the way. I will always do my best to make this the best experience for you! You are going to look beautiful!

When I'm not chatting with you at the salon you can find me shopping with my mom or friends.. You can never have too many shoes, reading a great book, getting on a plane with my boyfriend to explore somewhere new, doing something outside on our farm or eating a fabulous dinner downtown (Always ready to hear a suggestion for a place to try!)

I have been doing hair for 10 years. I have found my passion doing lived in color, blondes, and extensions.

I love the confidence extensions give me and I love watching my clients get the same confidence boost!

Outside of the salon I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking with my fiance, or trying out a new coffee shop.

Mara Kaye

Experienced Stylist / Sewickley

I've been doing hair for 10 years. I assisted and trained under Sarah for 2 years before starting to build my own clientele. I worked at one other salon until Sarah and I crossed paths again 2 years ago! I’m trained and specialize in very natural, lived-in color techniques, Invisible Bead extensions (IBE), and NBR extensions. Over the years I’ve really focused on all variations of bronde and brunette colors and tones.

My husband and I have twin boys named Graham and Asher. We also have two dogs named Winston and Harlowe. I love short weekday getaways. I enjoy just hanging out, good food, and company with lots of laughing! A fun fact about me is that one of my favorite things is just driving in the summer sunshine with the windows down, listening to country music!

Bekah Moreland

I've been doing hair since 2017. I assisted for a year at a former Pittsburgh salon. Always wanting to do color and extensions, I started with Sarah in 2018. After assisting, I transitioned into taking my own clients. I specialize and am trained in Natural Beaded row extensions, lived-in color, bright blondes, and brunettes. Over the years I have taken classes with 901 Salon, Kaitlyn Brown, and NBR.

When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, concerts (Harry Styles in particular!), good food, and a fun cocktail!

Sydney Vins

Advanced Stylist / Peters & Sewickley

I currently am specializing in more natural and seamless hair coloring techniques and hand tied extensions. I also have a love for textured hair cutting to complete the color and extension work I create. Throughout my career I've had the pleasure to work and train with some of the best in the industry. I'm so grateful for the opportunities that have come to me, and I can fulfill my passion of making people look and feel their best!

I’m extremely passionate about health, and I find it very important to educate my clients on the health of their hair so they can maintain the results they want to achieve. All beauty starts with our mind and body, so I love to express that through my work.

Outside of the salon you can find me being a mom to my awesome kids Brayden, Alina, Violet, and my furry pup Pearl. I love cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and shops in Pittsburgh. You can always find me walking Pearl or taking a pilates class too!

Mara Vlasach

Hi! My name is Conner Johnson. I have 3 years of salon experience and 6 years of styling experience. Some of the services I specialize in are colors, cuts, highlights, root smudges, blowouts, and formal event styling. I’ve had a passion for doing hair for as long as I can remember starting in my early elementary school years styling and cutting all of my Barbie’s hair. Working in this industry is truly a dream come true.

I attended Bella Capelli Academy in Robinson for my cosmetology license and trained for two years as an assistant then working behind the chair with my former salon. I came in contact with Sarah when I saw she would be opening her second location in the Sewickley area as I am from the area and have strong family roots here. I’m excited to continue learning different techniques and improving with Sarah Pelco Salon.

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, concerts, going out, playing any Mario related game, partaking in community theatre from time to time (so don’t be surprised if you hear me singing along to the music that’s playing), and going out to different restaurants!

Hi, I’m Morgan! Doing hair isn’t just my job, it’s my lifelong passion. I love when you come in and give me a challenge. Whether it is a big change, color correction, or even coming in and asking for whatever I think best suits you.

As the client, you will always be my biggest priority, nothing is better than seeing you leave feeling beautiful and confident. I will always be your biggest hype woman!

I have been behind the chair for two years now but, in the beauty industry for six years. I started assisting my aunt when I was just 15 years old. That is when I met Sarah & fell in love with her work! Currently I am working 1 on 1 with Sarah perfecting my extension work! I take clients Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays.

Outside of work I love to hang out with family and friends, shop, and try new restaurants or bars. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces in my chair or in the salon!

Morgan Hudson

Hi! My name is Emma Raffaele. I have had the pleasure of assisting at the salon since October of 2022. These girls inspire me everday to work harder and be better. I am truly privileged to go to work and watch them make magic day in and day out.

I fell in love with this industry a long time ago. I remember siting in a salon chair as a kid and beaming because I was beyond happy. I love that our job is to make someone feel their very best and I can not wait to be a Stylist. I am really looking forward to learning about different color techniques and the mechanics behind NBR and IBE extensions.

I started my career extremely young and graduated highschool with my cosmetology license and my cosmetology instructor’s license. With this jump starting my adult hood I could not be more happy with the results thus far. I have had my far share of challenges but I am really optimistic that I am on the path that is meant for me.

When you don’t see me in the salon. I am most likely sleeping, trying new foods, planning my next trip or dancing. You might even see a move or too during your hair appointment if your lucky! I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity and I can not wait to meet everyone!

Hi! My name is Nicole!

I recently moved back to the Pittsburgh area from Florida.
My previous salon home was in Port Orange, Florida, where I had the opportunity to build an amazing clientele, and work with and learn from talented stylists and educators from all over the greater Orlando area.

Enhancing natural beauty is my ultimate goal as a stylist. Even though I am back in the north, I am drawn to beach looks best achieved with lived-in color techniques and seamless extensions.

When not in the salon, I’m usually with friends and family, traveling, or attending a sports game!

Hi! My name is Katie, I’ve been assisting at the salon since June and I absolutely love it! I learn something new everyday, and I’m so grateful I’m learning from such talented stylists! I’m most excited to start extension training and learn everything there is to know from Sarah and the rest of the girls here.

I’m excited to become a stylist myself and do what I love. I am new to the industry and before start school I got a degree in Business and Marketing. I have a passion for creating and I love expressing my creativity through hair. When Im not in school, watching hair videos or working in the salon you can find me reading, biking, painting, writing, traveling or hanging out with friends.
